  • Established his own consultancy in 2015 and has helped law firms big and small, in virtually all practice areas, with different challenges.

  • Giles Watson managed the Queensland Law Society’s Practice Management Course (for new principals) for 6 years: writing study guides, designing, developing and delivering sessions. He still marks PMC assessments and presents on business planning.

  • Also runs a training business focused on client experience communication skills, www.cxtraining.com.au.

  • Managed and promoted Lexcel, the Law Society of England & Wales’ legal practice management quality mark.

  • Was a business development manager for 3 London law firms (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer / Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw / Berrymans Lace Mawer).

  • Giles Watson has a Masters in Marketing, an MBA, a BA in Politics, and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

  • Lectures on legal costs communication at QUT, and lectures at Kaplan Business School on their MBA program.

  • Is accredited in Hogan Assessments (personality profiling for selection, development, coaching)
