Giles Watson managed the Queensland Law Society’s Practice Management Course (for new principals) for 6 years: writing study guides, designing, developing and delivering sessions. He still marks PMC assessments and presents on business planning.
Provided direct coaching/consultancy support to more than a 100 small practice principals in either establishing new practices or maximising the potential of existing ones (QLS).
Presented or facilitated more than 100 QLS workshops, seminars or webinars to consistently excellent feedback. He has also facilitated a range of in-house law practice workshops, and presented seminars for ALPMA, APSMA and LawAsia.
Managed and promoted Lexcel, the Law Society of England & Wales’ legal practice management quality mark.
Was a business development manager for 3 London law firms (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer / Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw / Berrymans Lace Mawer).
